With my prolonged interest in art and prior knowledge in graphic design, I had always wanted to join yearbook. Unfortunately, I was waitlisted twice in my first year and did not have the chance to become part of the team. Therefore, I was exceptionally excited when the ExEd leaders particularly invited me to join the ExEd as a designer at the beginning of my second year. I readily agreed and aspired to fully commit to it.

Always working in the dining hall, I often saw kitchen staff walking in and out of the kitchen even when it was not meal time. A lot of them I had talked to for a multiple times in a day though had never really got to know them. Becoming curious about their working process and wanting to know the staff more, I joined the kitchen crew ExEd in my second semester. On my first day, I was greeted by Ted, one of the kitchen staff, who guided and took care of everyone in the ExEd throughout the semester.

I joined the greenhouse crew in my second semester at an invitation of a friend who was planning on starting a new project with tea plants. Not a tea expert nor a frequent tea drinker, I had no idea about how tea plants look like or how they are grown. Instead of turning away, I became curious about the project and how it was going to be executed. The reason was strong enough to prompt me to become part of the ExEd.
